to the point where I strongly feel you changed

"Robin's engaging and touching performance completely inspired and elevated the entire audience at the Red Robinson Theatre.
Robin's exceptional vocal and songwriting talents combined with her courageous soul baring stories of recovery, clearly demonstrated her intention to aid others in their own soul recovery.
We felt very fortunate and honored to have had the pleasure of this warm, honest woman share her personal triumphs over Eating disorders and give the message of hope to so many. We look forward to having her performance at our events annually!" |
Hope and Inspiration for Muscatel
Middle School Girls - Rosemead, CA
Christmas came a bit early for the young ladies at Muscatel Middle School in Rosemead, California. On December 18th, the school hosted Robin and Stacey Farr, a participant on the show "Biggest Looser". |

I just wanted to convey to you what a poignant and topical message you delivered to our 7th and 8th grade girls.
So may of our young ladies here at Muscatel see themselves as having no future, and already in a hopeless situation due to the “ideal” teenager portrayed in the media, especially in advertising. Too many young people already have the impression that they need to look a certain way, or act a certain way to be accepted/loved.
You delivered a message of reason as well as hope to them. I could tell by their attentiveness that you were getting through to them. Your “been there, done that” bio, along with your music captivated them to the point where I strongly feel you changed several lives that day.
I sincerely look forward to having you visit Muscatel again to share your story with a new group of students in the future. |
